Mercyhurst University Athletics

Flesch joined the Mercyhurst staff in 2022 after spending the last four seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Maine. Despite having a shortened 2020-21 schedule the Black Bears earned 52 wins with Flesch on the bench.

A graduate of CHA (Now AHA) foe Lindenwood, Flesch started his collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant for the Lindenwood ACHA Men’s Team after his playing career was over. Prior to coaching at the collegiate level, the Breezy Point, MN native was a consultant for 3E Goaltending.

After earning his Master’s degree from Lindenwood, Flesch joined the Maine staff where he was involved in all aspects of the women’s hockey program. While with Maine he has also worked with the USA Hockey National Camp mostly focusing on goaltending development.
