Bucci enters his second season as a member of the Laker's coaching staff for the 2023-24 season.
The native of Franklin Square, N.Y. came to Mercyhurst as a member of the men's ice hockey team, playing from 2015 to 2019, totaling 103 games while adding 11 goals with six of those coming in his final season in 2018-19. In his first season on the sidelines for the Lakers, Bucci helped the team to a mark of 21-14-2 overall while going 12-3-2 in the CHA to claim the two-seed in the CHA Tournament where they finished in the finals. Bucci's presence proved big as the team averaged 3.2 goals per game for the most since the 2013-14 season while having six players be named to an All-CHA team.
