Biography

2013-14: Named All-PSAC Western Division Second Team...played in 28 games, starting all 28...averaged 29.3 minutes, second-most on the Lakers...had the best season of his Laker career...averaged 8.8 points per game...led the team in rebounding (4.9), assists (3.2), steals (1.7), and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8)...shot 52.6 percent from the field and 72.3 percent from the free throw line...put up 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists to open the season against Shepherd November 15...named Wolf's Bus Lines Class All-Tournament Team...against California (Pa.) December 4, registered 19 points, six boards, and six assists...led a Laker rally to win at rival Gannon December 7, totaling seven points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and four steals...scored 18 points at West Chester on January 3 and then had a 12-4-4 line at Pitt-Johnstown January 25. Against UPJ on February 26, had 15 points on 5-7 shooting, along with four rebounds and four assists.

2012-2013: Played and started all 29 games....averaged 29.5 minutes a games.... finished third on the team with 120 rebounds....tallied 115 assists..... collected 28 blocks.....picked up 55 steals....third on the team in scoring with 224 points...featured on ESPN's SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays February 22 for his dunk against Gannon.

2011-2012:  Appeared in all 28 games for the Lakers… started in 17 contests averaging 20.5 minutes per game… proved to be an outstanding defender for the Lakers finishing 1st on the team and 9th in the PSAC in steals with 41 steals – a 1.46 game average… helped the Laker defense finish second in the PSAC (first in the West) in steals with an average of 8.68 steals per game and 1st in the PSAC with a turnover margin of +3.21… added to his defensive repertoire finishing 1st on the team in defensive rebounds (2.3/g), 2nd in total rebounds (4.3/g), and 3rd in blocks with 16 blocked shots for the season… finished 2nd on the team in assists averaging 2.3 assists per game, giving the Lakers a rank of 2nd in the PSAC (1st in the West) in assists (15.93/g) and 1st in the PSAC in Assist/Turnover ratio with a ratio of 1.16… averaged just under 5 points per game (4.9)… registered a career best 14 points wins over both Urbana College and Edinboro University.

2010-11:  Appeared in 24 games for the Lakers, missing three games with a lower body injury… used primarily as a reserve guard in support of starting point guard… scored in eight games, averaging 1.2 points in 9.6 minutes per game… had a career-best six points on two occasions (Washington Adventist on Dec. 12 and at Kutztown on Jan. 3)… personal-best two steals against Washington Adventist and Lock Haven (Feb. 5)… registered an assist in 11 games, including five games with two helpers… twice went 3-for-4 from the charity stripe…first career points game against Nyack on Nov. 20.

Prior to Mercyhurst:  At Westwind Prep, Ouegnin averaged 9.2 points per game with a 50 percent field goal percentage and a 71 percent free-throw percentage... also totaled 3.0 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals... team finished ranked No. 7 nationally in scholastic polls and played in the ESPN Prep Invitational.
