Mercyhurst University Athletics

Jackson spent the last two years obtaining her master's degree at the University of Louisville in Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. Prior to her time at Louisville, Jackson played basketball for Transylvania University where she won two conference championships and making a DIII Sweet 16 appearance with the Pioneers. Jackson graduated from Transylvania with a degree in Exercise Science while also doing volunteer work with Latitude Art and the Special Olympics.

Jackson is excited to join a coaching staff with high expectations. "I am really excited about being able to work with Coach Kohlheim and the team. She values the entire experience of her players and knows how to win on top of that. I feel like I am in an excellent position to learn from the best and am grateful to be a part of the Mercyhurst University community."

Kohlheim is equally excited to gain a member of the coaching staff with a lot of experience at different programs. "We are thrilled to have Taylor join our staff and program. Taylor comes from a highly reputable and culture-driven program at Transylvania University and brings a wealth of information from her graduate experience at the University of Louisville, having worked with their athletic department in mental health performance. She has a great attitude and work ethic and is a perfect fit for what we are looking to build towards."
