Molly Glick joined the Mercyhurst Women's Basketball coaching staff in the summer of 2022. Glick now enters her second season as the Assistant Coach for the Lakers. Prior to coming to Erie, Glick served as the Director of Basketball Operations at Northern Kentucky for the 2021-22 season. In early 2020, she was selected for the "So You Want To Be A Coach" program awarded by The Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
In her first season with Mercyhurst, the team proved to be one of the better three-point shooting units. The team shot 36.8% from beyond the arc to lead the PSAC. This also ranked eighth in the country. The team relied on a handful of shooters to help with the mark as four players finished with a three-point percentage of 37% or higher.Â
Glick played for Northern Kentucky throughout her undergraduate career while serving as a team captain four three seasons. As a freshman, she was named to the Horizon League All-Freshman team. She was also named to the preseason first team in 2018-19 and the second team in 2019-20. In her final season she was awarded the Thomas J. Kearns Achievement Award for academic excellence, athletic achievement, high character, and leadership.Â
Glick played in 125 games for the Norse, scoring 1,262 points and grabbing 437 rebounds. She averaged 10.1 ppg over the course of her career. During her senior season, Glick contributed 11.7 ppg, was named to the All-Horizon League Second Team, and helped the Norse reach the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament.
