Ross Stewart joined the Lakers in the Fall of 2021. Prior to joining the Lakers as a graduate assistant, Stewart played at both Davis & Elkins College and Daemen College, the latter of which he served as team captain. Earlier in his playing career, Stewart represented Glentoran FC at the reserve and youth level.

At the conclusion of his collegiate playing career, he transitioned into a coaching role where he served as an assistant coach. He also served a short spell as interim head coach at Daemen College. Most recently, Ross has been coaching with Crusaders Strikers FC in his native Northern Ireland.

His passion, desire and qualities made him the ideal candidate for this position, and we are delighted that he has chosen to join our family. Ross will primarily work with our goalkeepers but will assist with all facets of the program”.

Stewart is an UEFA licensed coach and will be pursuing his master’s degree in data science while at Mercyhurst University.
