Ralph a native of Murrysville, Pennsylvania manned the pipes for three seasons at Penn State Behrend, where he posted a record of 43-9-6. He earned three Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference First Team selections, including Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2017 and 2018.  In 2016 and 2018, he was named to the Division 3 All-America Team by National Soccer Coaches Association of America and United Soccer Coaches. Ralph received the James Frye - Penn State Behrend Male Athlete of the Year award in 2018.

Ralph backstopped the Lions to a pair of AMCC conference tournament titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances, one of which included a run to the Division 3 Sweet 16. Ralph has also played 4 seasons with Erie Commodores of the NPSL.

Ralph holds a Level 1 United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping diploma.
