Steven Reinhardt ’13 enters his 7th year on the Athletic Training staff at Mercyhurst University in 2021-2022. After spending 5 years as an Athletic Trainer and one year as the Associate Director of Athletic Training, Reinhardt was promoted to the Director of Athletic Training Services where he oversees the medical care for all Mercyhurst student athletes.
A native of Bradford, PA, Reinhardt earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training at Mercyhurst University. While a student, he participated in division II football for the Lakers as a 4-year starter and team Captain. He also gained experience in undergrad working with the Wattsburg Area School District junior and senior high schools, both Mercyhurst basketball teams, the Mercyhurst men’s lacrosse team, Edinboro University’s division I wrestling team, and did his capstone in the UPMC Hamot Sports Medicine clinic.
After graduating from Mercyhurst, Reinhardt spent time locally in sales while working part-time with the Mercyhurst football, basketball and tennis programs.
