2008: East Coast Conference First Team All-Conference...Inside Lacrosse Preseason Honorable Mention All-American...Started all 13 games for the Lakers, leading the team with 25 goals and tying for the team lead with 31 points...Also ranked second on the team with 37 ground balls and added three caused turnovers...Was the team's main faceoff specialist, going 58-of-128...Ranked 10th in the ECC in goals per game...Had four goals and six points against both Seton Hill and Wheeling Jesuit...Scored at least one goal in 11 games and closed the season with at least two goals in each of the final four games...Had five games in which he scored three or more goals...Scored the game-winning goals against both Seton Hill and Notre Dame de Namur...Had five ground balls on three occasions and posted at least one ground ball in 12 games...Was 9-of-11 on faceoffs against Seton Hill.

2007: Started all 15 games for the Lakers...One of five players to finish with at least 40 points, scoring 41...Played through sickness in the national championship game to post a goal and an assist despite needing an IV on game day...Scored 27 goals on the season, fourth most on the team...Had a season-high four goals against Notre Dame de Namur...Had six points on three goals and three assists in a regular season win over NYIT...Picked up four groundballs against C.W. Post...Went 20-of-39 on faceoffs, the second most attempts on the team.

Before Mercyhurst: Transfer from Bucknell University.

High School: Team won Monroe County championships in 2004 and 2005...Team was 18-1 as a senior... High School All-American...Two-time all-county...Scored 69 points as a senior..Second all-time at Penfield in ground balls...Team MVP in both lacrosse and football...School MVP as a senior.

Personal: Management major...Son of Jeff and Nancy Thon...Brother, Joe, also played lacrosse at Mercyhurst and is now on the MLL Rochester Rattlers...Also has a sister, Emily...Father played football collegiately at Hobart and was a named a team captain.
