Biography

2020-21: Tallied three assists in 17 games played ... Finished the season a +1 ... Blocked a team-leading 40 shots ... Bill Smith Award winner.

2019-20: Tallied two points on a goal and an assist in his junior season … Scored his first collegiate goal in hist 91st game on Feb. 1 … Team Captain. 

2018-19: Saw action in 35 games… tallied one assist… ended the season with a -4 +/- rating… had 16 shots on goal… blocked 44 shots in the defensive zone

2017-18: Played in 30 games. Picked up three assists. Ended with a team high +12 rating. Blocked 45 shots. First collegiate point came on Nov. 11 against Penn State. Was named Freshman of the Year at the team’s annual post season banquet.

Prior to Mercyhurst: Played four seasons with the Kemptville 73's in the CCHL...named to the CCHL Second All-Star team in 2016-17...two-time CCHL All-Star...played two season with U19 Team Canada East in the World Jr. A Challenge...named assistant captain on 2016-17 Team Canada East team and won silver medal. 

Personal: Born August 19, 1997...son of Ted and Karyn...has one sibling: Ryan...uncle Bill Rathwell played college hockey for Ohio State
