Before Mercyhurst: Played for the Pembroke Lumber Kings in the Central Canadian Hockey League (CCHL)...led all Lumber King defensemen with four goals and 20 assists for 24 points during 2011-12 season...also led the team with 97 penalty minutes...added three goals and three assists in 12 postseason games with Pembroke...won the Hamilton Red Wings Most Improved Player Award in 2008-09 and earned the Youngstown Phantoms Community Service Award in 2010-11.
