2012: Started all 11 games for the Lakers on the offensive line and did not miss a start in his four-year career (46 consecutive starts)...was a preseason All-American nominee by three different outlets prior to the season...named to the All-PSAC West First Team for the second straight season...was a Don Hansen All-Super Region One First Team, a Daktronics All-Super Region One First Team, and a Beyond Sports Network Honorable Mention All-American...did not give up a sack the entire season and allowed only one sack over the past two years...played three different line positions (guard, tackle, tight end) and also lined up in the H-back position...played every snap on offense and averaged 8-10 snaps on the defensive line as well...finished with three assisted tackles, including half a tackle for a loss...Mercyhurst had the third-best rushing attack in the PSAC, averaging 204.1 yards on the ground during the season...the Lakers also had the fourth-highest time of possession in the conference (31:01)...helped to pave the way for PSAC West Freshman of the Year, Brandon Brown-Dukes, who set the school's rushing record for yards by a freshman with 1,295 yards - just 19 yards shy of the school's all-time record...the Lakers, as a team, rushed for 28 touchdowns in 2012, tied for third-most in the conference

2011: Started all 11 games for the Lakers on the offensive line...was a First Team All-PSAC selection and a First Team ECAC Division II All-Star...was a Don Hansen Super Region One Third Team selection...started every game for the third consecutive season…anchored an offensive line that helped open holes for PSAC West Freshman of the Year, Richie Sanders…from his left tackle position, Poropat was a key protector in a passing game that finished third overall in the PSAC with 273.7 yards per game

2010: Started all 13 games, starting every game for the second straight season…earned his first all-conference honors, being named to the All-PSAC West Second Team...made the switch from the right side of the line to left tackle and did not miss a beat…helped paved the way for running back Gerald Anderson to set the single-season rushing record… part of offensive line that allowed just 1.36 sacks per game in the regular season (4th – PSAC) and helped the Laker offense to the league’s second-best time of possession mark (32:46)…also was an integral part of Mercyhurst’s second-best fourth-down conversion mark…helped offense to 345.2 yards per game, including 125.4 rushing yards and 219.8 passing yards

2009: The only rookie on the offensive line, he started all 11 contests for the Lakers and helped pave the way for a successful tailback duo…helped Mercyhurst to the top billing in the PSAC for fewest sacks allowed…the Lakers also finished seventh among league teams in fourth-down conversions
