Thomas Sydeski

Sydeski enters his first season with the Lakers ahead of the 2024 season with him acting as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach.

Prior to his time in Erie, Sydeski began his time on the sidelines in 2018 when he joined the coaching staff at Old Dominion, acting as the team's Offensive Quality Control Coordinator for Quarterbacks where he assisted the QB coach as well and running Ron Whitcomb's QB School during the summer. He then took his talents to south beach in July of 2018 where he served as the Offensive Quality Control Coordinator for the Offensive Line at Florida International University. From there, he became the Quarterbacks Coach at Bryant University in January 0f 2019, serving in that positions for four years before moving on on the University of West Georgia in February of 2023.

Sydeski helped FIU to a superb season in the trenches with the team allowing the third fewest sacks in the nation while their tackles for a loss was third with the team's passing efficiency coming in at 155.16 for the 13th-best in the country. His success continued at Bryant in 2021 where the team set a program record for points in a game while having 50 or more points in back-to-back games for the first time ever. Sydeski helped lead the team to being one of the better offenses in the NEC that season as they came in first in total offense while coming in second in scoring offense. In 2022, Bryant finished within the top 10 nationally in passing offense, third down conversion rate, and passing touchdowns while their quarter back, Zevi Eckhaus set program records for total offense in a season, passing yards in a game, and total offense in a game.

Sydeski earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration in 2017 from Hartwick College and currently resides in Erie, Pa.
