Nick Dubowski is in his second year on the Mercyhurst coaching staff. He will work with the fullbacks and tight ends.
Dubowski returns home, as he is an Erie, Pa., native, and graduate of Cathedral Prep. During his time as a collegiate player at Indiana (Pa.), he was a fullback during his freshman and sophomore seasons before moving to the other side of the ball as a linebacker for his final two years.
As a fullback, Dubowski played in 15 games, making nine starts. He had five receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown.
After moving to linebacker, Dubowski had 41 tackles over the course of two seasons, including 5 1/2 tackles-for-loss. He also had one sack, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble.
Prior to attending IUP, Dubowski was a two-time all-state linebacker at Cathedral Prep, which won the Pennsylvania AAA state championship in his senior year.
Dubowski graduated from IUP in 2017.
