Eric Acciani is in his second year as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Mercyhurst University.
Prior to Mercyhurst, Acciani served as the quarterbacks coach at pass game coordinator at Virginia Union University for one season, after five years as an offensive graduate assistant and quality control coach at Old Dominion University. At Old Dominion, Acciani was part of the fastest start-up program in FBS history to win 10 games and win a bowl game.
Starting as a high school coach in Southern California, Acciani then moved to become the offensive coordinator of the Allgau Comets of the German Football League, helping the team to a #6 ranking in Europe while coaching the league MVP.
He is a native of Chino Hills, California, and lives in Millcreek Township with his wife, Taylor, and daughters, Lincoln and Crosby.
