Bardol joins the Lakers with 2024 acts as her first year as the Director of Football Operations. Mackenzie graduated from Saint Mary's College with a Bachelor's in Communication Studies in the spring of 2022 with her being an active member of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football program over the course of the last five years. Bardol worked in several different roles for Notre Dame, seeing time as an equipment manager, personnel manager, and equipment intern. Her impact on the Irish's program was felt thanks to her professionalism and enthusiasm and Riemedio and his staff now bring that to Erie.
Bardol was moved to the Football Equipment Intern for Notre Dame in the spring of 2023 and served as such for the 2023 and 24 seasons. Over the course of those two years, she inventoried and issued new apparel to coaches, staff, and players and oversaw and collaborated with 27 plus student football managers on a daily basis. Bardol also assisted in day-to-day tasks such as setting up for practice drills and giving her time at youth summer camps.
At the beginning of 2021, Bardol was elevated to Senior Personnel Manager where she demonstrated strong leadership skills in evaluating and training new staff, delegating tasks to ensure streamlined operations, and being proactive in preparing for upcoming practices. Bardol proved to be an integral part of Notre Dame's interior process with her overseeing up to 50 equipment managers in their tasks to ensure efficient operations during all practices
Bardol's first position with the Fighting Irish was as the Equipment Manage from 2018 to December 2020 where she collaborated with coaching staff to provide and set up the necessary equipment during practices and supported the team by assisting on the sidelines of home games, away games, and Pro Days.
