Katie Lammando

Katie Lammando enters her first season as the Field Hockey Graduate Assistant in 2021.

Lammando comes to Erie after playing collegiately at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.  While with the Skyhawks she played in 22 games in cage, making 17 starts all of which came during her junior season.  During that 2019-20 campaign, Lammando posted a .753 save percentage and a solid 1.19 goals against average to go along with an 11-6 record, which included a 1-0 shutout over seventh-ranked Assumption College.

She comes from a field hockey family as relatives Casey and Morgan played at the college level Appalachian State and Lynchburg respectively.

Coach Randolph is thrilled to have Lammando joining the program "I am so excited to announce Katie as the newest addition to our staff.  Her knowledge of the game from a backfield perspective is going to be a huge asset to our defensive approach.  She has had an impressive career at Stonehill and knows what it takes to be successful in D2 field hockey."  She went on to add "Her passion for field hockey and her values align with everything that is Mercyhurst University Field Hockey and we our thrilled to have her as part of our Lakers family!"
