Brynn Seidenstricker

Brynn Seidenstricker enters her second season as a member of the Mercyhurst field hockey coaching staff in 2016 after a career at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.

From 2010-2013, the Shippensburg field hockey team amassed a 75-10 record, three NCAA Division II semifinal appearances, two championship game appearances, and won the 2013 National Championship. Seidenstricker was one of nine seniors on the 2013 championship team. 

The Hanover, Pennsylvania, native finished her career with 38 game appearances and four National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Academic Squad recognitions. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.8 GPA in Business Administration. During her junior and senior seasons at Shippensburg, Seidenstricker served as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference representative to the NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Seidenstricker comes to Mercyhurst from the NCAA where she completed an NCAA postgraduate internship with the governance department. She spent the 2014-15 year working with Division II, Division III, and the National Letter of Intent (NLI). Her primary duties included supporting numerous NCAA membership committees, assisting with NLI inquiries and correspondence, and planning and executing Division II National Championships.

In addition to her coaching duties at Mercyhurst, Seidenstricker will be working on her Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Sports Leadership.
