Brace enters her first season on the sidelines as an assistant coach for the Lakers in 2023.
Brace previously as a staff member of the Mercyhurst Athletic Department as the Director of Club Sports. As the Director of Club Sports she oversaw sport management for 11 club sports including the athletic department performance groups. In her first year, she added five new coaches to the department and improved current program status for four current club sports. Currently the department offers men's bowling, men's and women's ice hockey, dance, equestrian, figure skating, men's volleyball as well as cheerleading, color guard, pep band and marching band. She also served as the point of contact for event management and game day run of show including internal staffing hires as well as external staffing hires for game day events.
Before her Club Sports role, she spent one year as the Assistant for Marketing and Promotions. As the Assistant for Marketing and Promotions she improved the game day experiences for fans, students, and student athletes by adding promotions, event nights, and giveaways at home events. She organized and managed oversight of the "Fighting for Folgs" fundraiser as well as the yearly basketball event: "Pride of Erie Porecco Cup" versus Gannon University.Â
A 2015 graduate of Mercyhurst and 4 year scholar athlete on the field hockey team, Allison earned her Bachelors degree from Mercyhurst in Social Work. She enjoys watching sports and adventuring the surrounding areas. A native of Buffalo, New York, she has three siblings.
