Q: What is the Ice Breaker Tournament?
A: The annual Ice Breaker Tournament marks the traditional start to the college hockey season. Celebrating its 21st season in 2017-18, the Ice Breaker brings together four of the nation's top teams from different conferences. Games are exempt from the NCAA schedule which allows for additional games to the schedule that year. The Ice Breaker Tournament is run by College Hockey Inc., and is rotated annually to different host schools and sites.

Q: When will tickets become available for purchase?
A:  Weekend passes will go on sale Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Erie Insurance Arena Box Office. Single-day tickets will be available for purchase in September 2018.

Q: How do I purchase tickets?
A: Tickets can be purchased at the Erie Insurance Arena Box Office by calling (814) 452-4857 or in person at 809 French Street, Erie, Pa.   Fans interested in purchasing tickets may complete the Ticket Interest Form in advance and a representative of Erie Insurance Arena Box Office will contact you with additional information.

Fans may purchase weekend passes (all four games) for $49, or day passes (two games) for $29.

Q: Are single-game tickets available for purchase?
A:  No.  Fans must purchase either a day pass or weekend pass.

Q: What is the schedule of games?
A:  Friday, October 12: Providence College vs Miami (OH), 4 pm; followed by Notre Dame vs Mercyhurst, 7:30 pm.  Saturday, October 13: Consolation Game, 4 pm; followed by Championship Game, 7:30 pm.
