2017- Capital One Academic All-America® Division II Second Team

2017: Saw action in all 11 games this season... Received 870 yards total, leading the Lakers in received yards... Novak recorded more 100 or more yards on two occasions this season, once against California University (Pa.) with 107 yards and then against Lock Haven with 100 yards... Novak's all purpose game average is 89.9 per game and a 26.5 kick return kick average... Also received recognition by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America, where he was selected to be on the Academic All-America Second Team.

2016: Saw action in 11 games with an average yardage per catch of 20.9, average rushing yardage of 13.0.

2015: Played in 10 games.. recorded 23 receiving yards on 5 carries.. recorded 9 receiving yards on 1 carry against Clarion on October 3. GAME-BY-GAME STATISTICS

2014: Saw action in all 11 games for the Lakers…finished the season with 17 catches for 176 yards (10.4 yards per catch)…had a season-high 46 receiving yards against Seton Hill on November 1…returned two punts for 41 yards against Shippensburg University on November 15…also recorded one solo tackle on the season…GAME-BY-GAME STATISTICS

High School: Played football and baseball at North Olmsted High School...named First Team Academic All-State, First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-District, and was the team's Offensive Most Valuable Player as a senior...was a three-year letterman...won the Scholar Athlete Award for the Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation...was a four-year letterman in baseball...was a First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-District selection...was a First Team Academic All-State selection in baseball.

Personal: Born January 27, 1996...majoring in political science...son of Glenn and Susan...has two brothers, Kyler and Anthony, and one sister, Vivian...father, Glenn, played football at Mercyhurst from 1989 to 1992...finished career with 108 total tackles and still ranks seventh on the school's all-time list with ten career interceptions.
