2014-15: Finished the season with a 19-11 overall record and a 13-4 mark in duals...named to the NWCA All-Academic Second Team for the second time in his career...finished fifth on the team with six victories by major decision...also had one pinfall and two technical fall wins...finished fourth on the team in takedowns (45) and escapes (30)...had a season-long seven-match winning streak from January 10 through February 1...placed fourth at Laker Open and sixth at the PSAC Championships...accounted for 65.5 team points and totaled 183 match points

2013-14: 

Ryan carried a winning record in his redshirt senior campaign, finishing the season at 13-12. Competing mainly at the 133-pound weight class for the first time in his career, he placed 6th at the PSAC Championships as well as at the Super Region I Tournament. He leaves the Lakers in sixth place for most career technical falls.

2012-13: Redshirt...wrestled as an unattached in 14 tournament matches during the season, earning ten victories...had a first-place finish at the Jamestown Community College Open on February 2...finished second at the Laker Open on November 17...finished fourth at the Mount Union Open on January 20.

2011-12: Finished his sophomore campaign with a 28-17 record...was an NCAA Division II National Qualifier after finishing fourth at the Super Region I Championships...went 3-2 at the Super Region I Championships, earning victories over UNC-Pembroke's J.D. Baker, American International's Este Lara, and Gannon's Matthew Turek...went 0-2 at the NCAA Tournament...had four top-five finishes in tournaments during the season...placed third at the Laker Open, fourth at the W&J Invitational, and fifth at both the Ohio Northern Tournament and the PSAC Championships...his 28 victories tied for second-most all-time by a sophomore in program history...had seven major decision victories, which tied for most in program history by a sophomore and tied for sixth-most all-time...accounted for 99.5 points...set school records with 28 nearfall 3's and 27 nearfall 2's.

2010-11: The regular at the 125lb class went 2-5 during the Super Region I Championships earning himself a sixth place finish… he faced the No.2 wrestler in the Regional Championship on day one and beat Jose Matos with a 9-4 decision to advance to the second day where he faced the No.1, No.3, and No.5 wrestler… led the Lakers in escapes (48) and riding time points (11)… was one of four Lakers who won 20 matches this season supporting a 21-15 overall record while going 13-7 in dual meet matches… finished third during the National Catholic Invitational winning 3-of-4…placed fourth at the PSAC Championships after recording a 2-2 showing… had six different winning streaks… registered six major decision wins, tying the freshman major decision record… ranked sixth four times this season in the regional poll.

High School: Wrestled in high school...Took 8th place in the PIAA state tournament...Was the WPIAL tournament runner-up.

Personal: Born December 28, 1991...majoring in graphic design with a minor in marketing...son of Brian and Sue...has two brothers, Willie and Nathan, and one sister, Victoria...younger brother Willie is a redshirt sophomore, wrestles for Mercyhurst, and was an All-American as a true freshman.
