Biography

Career Record: 34-32

2014-15: Finished redshirt senior campaign with a 9-8 record. Season was cut short due to a recurring injury.

2013-14: Did not compete due to injuries

2012-13: Posted a 12-12 overall record, going 5-6 in dual competition...split time, nearly right down the middle, with freshman Joey Miller at 141 pounds...had two victories by major decision and one win by fall...went 4-2 at the Ohio Northern Invitational on December 1...had three consecutive dual wins from December 15 to January 17...went 2-2 at the NCAA Super Region I Tournament.

2011-12: Redshirt

2010-11: Emerged as the Lakers 141lb starter midway through the season finishing second in the National Catholic Invitational… posted two four-match win streaks from Nov.13 thru Nov.20 and Feb.2 thru Feb.11 respectively… went 13-12 overall with a 7-5 record during dual meet play… won 11 matches by decision… found himself ranked regionally once during the season.

High School: Placed fifth in Ohio State Championships in 2009 and eighth in 2008...won the 2010 District Championship and finished fifth at Flonationals also in 2010... named three-time first-team Federal League selection as well as a three-time first-team Stark County All-Star.

Personal: Born January 3, 1991...majoring in strategic communications...son of Greg and Helen...has two siblings, Alex and Paul.
