2013: Made the transition from one of the teams' best bullpen arms to starter in 2013...made a dozen starts on the hill and posted a 5-5 record with a 5.17 earned run average...finished second on the team with 66 strikeouts in 62.2 innings...27 of his 66 strikeouts were looking...first collegiate start resulted in a 5-2 win at Chowan on February 9 - allowed one run on six hits in six innings while striking out eight...pitched seven shutout innings against Chestnut Hill on February 27, allowing only two hits while striking out eight...struck out a season-high eight batters on four different occasions...had complete game shutout victory over Slippery Rock on April 12...team went 6-6 in Altavilla's 12 starts...GAME-BY-GAME STATISTICS

2012: Proved to be one of the main arms out of the Laker bullpen in his rookie season...finished the year with a 5-0 record and led the team with a 0.91 earned run average in 17 appearances (29.2 innings)...limited opponents to just a .168 batting average...struck out 38 batters in his 29.2 innings of work...earned his first collegiate save in game one of the Atlantic Regional playoffs against Kutztown, recording the final two outs with an inherited runner at second base...allowed 17 hits, with only one extra base hit...had victories out of the bullpen against Chowan, Felician, Salem International, Clarion, and Gannon...in his win over Gannon, pitched a career-high 3.2 innings and allowed only two hits while striking out six...GAME-BY-GAME STATISTICS

High School: Was the WPIAL Player of the Year for Elizabeth Forward as a senior…pitched 84 innings and struck out 119, including a 10-strikeout two-hitter against Hampton in the WPIAL Class AAA championship game…finished the year with an 11-1 record and an 0.57 ERA...batted .479 with seven home runs, 27 RBI, and 31 runs scored.
