2012: Appeared in 33 matches, starting 27...second on the team with 248 kills...hit .244 on the year...led the team with 124 total blocks, including 110 block assists...recorded 63 digs...added 14 aces...had nine matches with double-digit kills...tallied 16 kills against Charleston on September 15 and at IUP November 9...served three aces against Gannon in the NCAA Tournament November 29...registered five matches with at least seven block assists, including contests of eight against Clarion and Wheeling Jesuit.

2011:  Played in 113 sets over 32 matches...tallied 252 kills, 43 assists, and 30 service aces...also recorded 53 digs, 15 single blocks, and 76 assisted blocks totaling 91 blocks for the lakers.

2010:  Arguably the most reliable all-around player for the Lakers… finished eighth in PSAC in service aces, leading the team with 38… of the starters, she had the highest attack percentage (.226) and finished with 147 kills in 442 attempts against 47 errors… fifth among starters in kills per game (1.47) but third in overall kills… paired mainly with Justine Smith in the blocking schemes, B. Smith finished second on the squad in blocks at 81 (9 solo) and 0.81 per game… never had less than two kills per match… had three or more aces in six different matches… had four or more blocks in 12 matches… set new career-highs in aces (6 vs Shippensburg, 10/8) and digs (9 at Edinboro, 9/24).

2009: Saw action in 107 sets over 33 matches for the Lakers on the season…recorded 148 kills in 442 attempts, fifth-best on the team…added eleven assists and 30 digs …notched 15 aces, fifth-best on the team and one of seven Lakers to record double-digit aces…contributed 101 blocks and 0.94 blocks/gm on the season, second-highest on the squad…recorded a kill in 31 of 33 matches, tallying a season-high 10 on two occasions, against Carlow (Aug. 29) and Shippensburg (Oct. 9)…added a season-best three aces in a win over IUP (Nov. 6)…contributed a season-high six digs in a five-set win over Shippensburg (Oct. 9)…tallied a block in 31 of 33 contests, recording a season-best eight in back-to-back games against Slippery Rock (Oct. 24) and Gannon (Oct. 27).

High School:  Team captain as senior for Butler...All-State and First Team All-WPIAL as a senior... Four-year letterwinner...WISR/WBUT Student-Athlete of the Week...team MVP in 2007 and 2008 ... Cumberland Valley and Moon All Tournament player... also participated in basketball and track and field for two years.

Personal:  Born Oct. 8, 1990... major is sportsmedicine/pre-physical therapy... parents are Tom and Linda Smith... siblings include Katie, Sarah and Bill.
