As a Junior (2025)
Appeared in six races, placing 16th at the Race in the Park, where he recorded his best time, 20:20.5 ... finished with a time of 28:49.50 at the NEC Conference Championship.

As a Sophomore (2024)
Participated in six races ... finished eighth overall at the Penn State Behrend Invitational ... recorded a season-best time of 20:24.8 at the Race in the Park ... finished with a time of 29:55.00 at the NEC Conference Championship.

As a Freshman (2023)
Appeared in five of the Laker's races in his freshman season, placing 57th in the PSAC Championships ... had a season-best time in 6k races in the Race in the Park on 9/1/23 with a time of 21:12.2 while his best 8k time came in the Lock Haven Invitational when he ran for a time of 27:12.7 for 158th in the race.

Prior to Mercyhurst: Ran cross country and track in high school and was named the captain for two seasons while making it as both All-League and All-County.

Personal: Son of Jim and Donna Derby ... pre-athletic training major ... has two siblings, Vivian and Charlotte.
