Biography

2023: Appeared in fivr of the Laker's races in his freshman season, placing 57th in the PSAC Championships. Had a season-best time in 6k races in the Race in the Park on 9/1/23 with a time of 21:12.2 while his best 8k time came in the Lock Haven Invitational when he ran for a time of 27:12.7 for 158th in the race.

Major: Pre-Athletic Training

Prior to Mercyhurst: Ran cross country and track in high school and was named the captain for two seasons while making it as both All-League and All-County.

Personal: Son of Jim and Donna Derby ... Has two siblings, Vivian and Charlotte
