Mercyhurst University Athletics

As A Sophomore (2025-2026)

• Played in all 37 games 
• Scored six goals and added 11 assists for 17 points 
• Led the team with 67 blocks
• Tied for first on the team with four game-winning goals, also led all blue liners 
• Won AHA Defenseman of the Week once 

Prior to Mercyhurst: Played D1 hockey at Merrimack, attended for one year, Women's Ice Hockey where she appeared in 34 games…scored first two collegiate goals on 11/22 at RPI...scored first playoff goal at New Hampshire on 2/26... had five goals total and six assists for 11 points.... Blocked a team high 60 shots... Before College: Previously played for Durham West Lightning program. In 2023 named Elite Provincial Champions and 2024 we were league champions with the U22 Durham Jr. Lightning… In 2022 named National champions (The Esso Cup) with U18 Durham West Lightning team and was named top defender of the national tournament…also part of Team Ontario at Nationals in 2023.

Personal: Daughter of Tricia & Phil Poitras... Two siblings, Adam & Matt Poitras... Adam Poitras: Played NCAA lacrosse at Loyola Maryland, now plays in the NLL for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs and in the PLL for the Maryland Whipsnakes.  Matt Poitras: Plays for the Boston Bruins/Providence Bruins... Majoring in Nursing
