2023: Played in 15 games on the season, starting in all of them. Collected 156 saves on the season for the fourth most in DII with her 10.4 saves per game also coming in fourth in the nation. Had eight games in which she saved 10 or more shots with a season-high of 19 coming in the team's final game on 10/28 against Shippensburg.
2022: Was named to the All-PSAC Second Team
. Played all 17 games and started all 17 of them for the Lakers, made an impressive 203 saves which ranked first in DII field hockey. Desormeau had a save percentage of 0.822 and had a total of 1009 minutes this season.
2021: Appeared in 16 games while making 13 starts during her freshman season. She finished the year with 202 saves on a .754 save percentage. Her 12.62 saves per game was second best in all of Division II. She had six saves in the Laker's October 12th win over Seton Hill.
Major: Early Childhood and Special Education
Prior to Mercyhurst: Was a multi-sport athlete at Bluevale Colleigate Institute participating in both field hockey and ice hockey. With the Knights she captured a gold and silver medal at the OFSAA (Ontario Championships), while winning a LLFHL Championship on the ice in 2018. She is also a member of the A&C Field Hockey Academy where she competed with Team Ontario in 2017 (U15 Silver Medalist), 2018 (U15 Silver Medalist) and 2019 (U18 Bronze Medalist). She also traveled to California in 2020 with the U18 Development Team as part of Canada's NexGen program. Competed with Canada’s Junior National Team at the 2023 Junior PanAmerican Championships in Barbados and placed fourth. At the Junior PanAmerican Championships was named goalkeeper of the tournament.
