Biography

2023: Participated in all 11 games as a member of the offensive line.

2022: Played eight and started eight games for the Lakers with a total of one tackle this season.

2021: Played in 10 games for the Lakers on the offensive line.

2020-21: Played exhibition schedule in Spring of 2021 after COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the Fall season.

Major: Organizational Leadership

Prior to Mercyhurst: League All-Star at Canandaigua Academy High School. Played in the Eddie Meath All-Star Game. Was an All-State Honorable Mention and Monroe County All-League.

Personal: Son of Jon and Sue Welch ... Has one sibling, sister Megan ... Father was a college wrestler at both Clarion University and SUNY Cortland.
