2023: Competed in three games for the Lakers, totaling 18 rush attempts for a total of 32 yards. Had a season-high 32 yards against Lock Haven on 9/9/23 in the games home opener. Also had two games of 10 or more receiving yards, having a season-high 14 against Lock Haven.

2022: Appeared in 9 games. He rushed for 449 yards and four TD's. He also added 14 receptions to his line along with 10 kick returns for an average of 24.6 yards per return. Set a new career-high in rushing yards in a game with 125 against Alderson Broaddus in the season opener while adding three TD's to his line.

2021:  Appeared in 11 games, earning PSAC West Second Team honors. He rushed for 375 yards with three TD's. He also recorded 122 yards on kick returns and had 33 yards on six receptions. His best game came against Gannon (11/6) where he rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns.

Prior to Mercyhurst: Three-sport athlete playing football, basketball and track ... Four-year letter winner in basketball and football ... All-State Honorable Mention in football. Led the state of Florida in both steals and assists while playing basketball.

Personal: Son of Carla and John Alize ... Has two siblings, John Jr. and Lianah ... Cousin, Melvin Holland, played defensive tackle for the University of Houston.
