2022-23: Played 30 and started 10 of the games for the Lakers, scored a total of 5 goals and had 8 assists. Briere had 41 shots on goal and had a total of 12 blocks this season.

2021-22: Appeared in 31 games, scored 13 goals to go along with 14 assists for 27 points. All marks ranked second on the team. His four power play goals tied for best on the team and his +5 +/- rating was second best on the team. He added 17 blocks. He scored a season high four goals on 10/15 against Holy Cross.

2020-21: Briere led the Lakers with five goals and a team-high 14 assists for 19 points ... Second-Team All-AHA Selection ... AHA All-Rookie Team choice ... Ranked in the Top 10 in the nation in points and assists per game among freshman ... Named Mercyhurst Freshman of the Year.

Major: Communications

Prior to Mercyhurst: Spent last season with the Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL. He scored three goals and added nine assists for 12 points in 24 games. In 2018-19 Briere posted 89 points in 59 games for the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL.
