Mercyhurst University Athletics

2021 Season: 
Started in 36 games for the Lakers serving as the main center fielder for most of the season. Had a .196 batting average while having four homers and 14 RBI. Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage making 38 catches and adding one assist. Drew 14 walks while having a .325 on base percentage.

2020 Season:
Started in all eight games, batting .424 with four extra-base hits, six walks and 11 RBIs.  He was 4-7 in stolen base attempts.  In the field Baranchak posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage thanks to 16 putouts.  In the final two games of the season against Ohio Dominican (3/6) and Lock Haven (3/7) he combined to go 4-10 with eight RBIs helped by a walk, double and home run.  

2019 Season: 
Appeared in 28 games, making 25 starts. He recorded a .259 batting average with a .341 on-base percentage in addition to 18 runs scored and 14 driven in. On the bases he was 4-4 in stolen base attempts.

2018 Season (At Mercyhurst North East):
Played 43 games... Led the team in Hits, Batting Average, Runs Batted In, On Base Percentage and Slugging Percentage (50 Hits, .365 BA, 40 RBI, .491 OBP, and .620 SLG)... Recorded Four Home runs.

2017 Season (At Mercyhurst North East):
Did not Play.

2016 Season (At Mercyhurst North East):
Played in 44 games... Batting Average of .331 (41 of 124)... Recorded Two Home runs and 31 Runs Batted In... Had a .432 On Base Percentage and a .492 Slugging Percentage.

Prior to Mercyhurst:
Played baseball at Mercyhurst North East before transferring to Mercyhurst...won the OCCAC Player of the Year and was NJCAA All-American in 2018.
