ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's soccer team is excited to announce its schedule for the 2026 season.
 
The season kicks off on Aug. 20 with an in-state matchup as the Lakers travel to face Penn State. Following this opener, the Lakers will return home Aug. 23 to face Drexel, marking their first home game of the season.
 
The team will then hit the road again to take on Cleveland State on Aug. 28, before returning to their home turf for a three-game stretch against Detroit Mercy on Sept. 1, Canisius Sept. 5, and Niagara Sept. 9.
 
A notable highlight of the 2026 season is the Centennial Game, scheduled for Sept. 19 against Bowling Green as the program celebrates its rich history. This special event will be held at home as Mercyhurst celebrates its 100^th anniversary.
 
The Lakers continue their campaign with a series of away games, including a match against FDU Sept. 27 and a visit to Howard Oct. 4. They will also face Central Connecticut away Oct. 11, before returning home to play New Haven Oct. 18 and Le Moyne Oct. 25.
 
The regular season will conclude with an away game against Stonehill on Nov. 1, followed by a home finale against Chicago State Nov. 8.
