INDIANA, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Equestrian team concluded the regular season at IUP on Sunday. The team rode well as Grace Denton was 2^nd in Intermediate Flat and 5^th in Intermediate Fences. The team ended the season in 6^th place, only 53 points out of 2^nd place.


The team is very proud of their accomplishments so far this season and are excited to begin post season competition. To qualify for the post season, riders accumulate points at their IHSA local shows to qualify for the Regional Finals in their respective divisions. The top two riders in each class of the Regional Finals move on to Zone finals.


Next Sunday, March 29th, individual riders will travel to Storm Harbor Equestrian Center to compete at the Regional Finals meet to compete for individual spots at zones. These individuals are as follows:

Cheyenne McGuire in Introductory
Grace Denton in Limit Flat and Limit Fences
Jeanette Baker in Intermediate Flat
