LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Mercyhurst men's golf team wrapped up competition at the 2026 Bucknell Invitational on Tuesday, finishing tied for 11th among 18 teams at Bucknell Golf Club. The Lakers posted a two-round team total of 572 (+12), highlighted by a four-stroke improvement in the second round.

Mercyhurst opened the tournament with a team score of 288 (+8) before carding a 284 (+4) in the second round to finish at 12-over par. The event was shortened to 36 holes due to rain on the opening day, with the Lakers finishing level with Binghamton in the team standings.

Jonah Schollaert led the way for Mercyhurst, tying for 18th individually with a two-round total of 140 (E). Schollaert opened with a two-under-par 68 before finishing with a 72 in the second round to secure a top-20 finish.

Tyce McClain delivered one of the team's strongest performances in the final round, firing a two-under-par 68 to finish tied for 28th with a total of 141 (+1). After opening with a 73, McClain's four-stroke improvement helped fuel the Lakers' lower team score on Tuesday.

Ryan Wolk also finished strong, carding an even-par 70 in the second round to finish tied for 60th with a total of 145 (+5). Barrett Paolini recorded a two-round score of 147 (+7), finishing tied for 74th, while Peter Malo Jr. rounded out the Mercyhurst lineup with a total of 150 (+10).

The Lakers' improved team score in the second round, along with Schollaert's top-20 finish and McClain's under-par final round, provided encouraging takeaways from the trip to Lewisburg as Mercyhurst continues its fall season.
