ERIE, Pa. – Mercyhurst Flag Football head coach
Zack Helsley is thrilled to unveil the schedule for the highly anticipated inaugural 2026 season.

The season kicks off on March 11 with a full day of action at home against Marymount and Allegheny. The Lakers will play both teams twice with action beginning at 8:30 a.m. Games against Allegheny mark the first Eastern College Athletic Conference matchups of the year.

Key matchups include a home game against SUNY Geneseo on March 21 at 4:00 p.m., followed by participation in the NCFFL tournament, where the team will play away matches at Howard Community College on March 28 and 29, with further details to be announced.

April starts with a doubleheader against California (Pa.) on April 3, with games scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The team will once again hit the road for another NCFFL tournament on April 10 and 11 at Lancaster Bible College.

Mercyhurst will host Roberts Wesleyan on April 19 at 1:30 p.m. The final home event of the regular season is scheduled for April 25, with a day full of matchups against ECAC opponents Mount St. Mary's and Franciscan, starting at 8:30 a.m. and concluding at 3:10 p.m.

The regular season wraps up with away games against D'Youville and Villa Maria on April 26, with start times at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, respectively.
