ERIE, Pa. – Mercyhurst University Athletics has entered into a new partnership with FanWord, one of the leading AI technology and storytelling companies in college sports. Through this collaboration, Mercyhurst will integrate FanWord Assist, FanWord's AI-powered content creation platform, to enhance efficiency and amplify the reach of its athletic communications.

FanWord Assist enables athletic departments to quickly produce game recaps, feature stories, and player bios, allowing staff to scale their storytelling efforts while maintaining consistency and authenticity across platforms.

Fellow Northeast Conference member Daemen University along with neighboring Pennsylvania schools Clarion, Edinboro, and Penn State Harrisburg are also utilizing FanWord Assist, underscoring its adoption within the region.
