Moon Township, PA- The Mercyhurst Softball team will take a trip down I-79 to face the Robert Morris Colonials. This non-conference doubleheader will somehow be the first ever meeting between the two sides. 

Laker's Form 
Mercyhurst is currently 4-28 overall and 2-16 in conference play. Their last outing was a tough series loss to the defending NEC champions, Saint Francis University. Eliza Reynolds and Jazlynn Sanders continue to be the best hitters on the team. Reynolds batting average is .302 and Sanders is .329, the only two above .300 on the team. They have a combined 39 RBIs, 58 hits, and ten home runs. 

Scouting the Colonials 
Robert Morris is currently 22-14 overall and 14-6 in the Horizon League. They recently won a home conference series 2-1 against Purdue Fort Wayne. Mary Brant and Courtney Poulich are the two best hitters for RMU. Their batting averages are sitting around .360 and they have an OPS of 1.181 and 1.217, respectively. The pair has 77 total RBIs and 19 combined home runs.
