Erie, PA- After having a week off, the Softball team will host Central Connecticut State University for a weekend conference series. 

Laker's Form 
Mercyhurst is currently 3-23 overall and 1-11 in the NEC. The Lakers picked up their first conference win of the season in the series over Stonehill last weekend. Eliza Reynolds and Jazlynn Sanders had tremendous outings against Stonehill and will be key players for this weekend. Sanders has 17 hits, 16 RBIs, six home runs, and a slugging percentage of .719. Reynolds has 22 hits, 13 RBIs, and two home runs this season. 

Scouting the Blue Devils
CCSU is 13-23 overall and 8-4 in conference play. Their most recent result was a pair of 5-0 losses to Army West Point. However, one of their pitchers has had a phenomenal season so far. Liz Hamilton has 70 strikeouts, eight wins, and four shutouts. Her four shutouts puts her at 12th in the nation.
