Teaneck, NJ- The Mercyhurst Softball team is heading to FDU to take on the Knights in their second conference series of the season. This is the first ever meeting between the two sides. 

Laker's Form 
Mercyhurst is currently 0-13 on the season and 0-3 in conference play. Their last outing included a couple of losses to Canisius University this past Tuesday. Mackenzie Gillis and Jazlynn Sanders are two freshmen who have been hitting well this season. They have combined for 17 hits, 12 RBIs, nine runs, and three home runs so far, and will likely be called upon for the series this weekend. 

Scouting the Knights
FDU is currently 9-13 on the season and 2-1 in conference play. Their most recent games were a pair of losses to Sacred Heart University. The Knights may look to freshman utility Madison Rishel to provide some offensive play. Rishel has 30 hits, 15 runs, and five RBIs in 73 at bats this season.

The first game of the series will take place Saturday, March 22nd at 1:00 PM. Viewers can find live coverage through FDU's stat link here. The first two games are not being streamed due to FDU's involvement in the NCAA Tournament.
