North Canton, OH- Mercyhurst Stunt will compete in the Walsh Tournament on Friday, February 7th. They will take on Tiffin University at 4:15 PM and MAWC opponent Trevecca Nazarene University at 6:45 PM. 

Laker Outlook

The Lakers opened their season last weekend at the UK Tournament, starting with a 1-3 overall record and a 1-2 mark in conference play. They secured a dominant 18-1 victory over MAWC opponent Northern Kentucky University. However, they faced setbacks against other conference contenders, falling to UT Martin 13-10 and the University of Kentucky 23-0. The Lakers also lost a non-conference matchup to Missouri Baptist University 18-8. After the hard-fought weekend, Head Coach Ruthanne Oakes expressed confidence and pride in her team's performance. Mercyhurst ranks 3rd in the current Mid-America West Conference Standings.

Scouting Tiffin

The Dragons hold a 1-1 overall record and have yet to play a conference opponent. Last weekend, they fell to Alma College 24-1 and defeated Central Michigan University 11-7. Tiffin ranks 2nd in the current GMAC Stunt Standings. 

Scouting Trevecca Nazarene

The Trojans hold a 3-1 overall record and have a 1-1 record in the conference. They defeated UT Martin 21-6, Missouri Baptist University 21-6, and Ashland University 16-15 in double overtime. They fell to the University of Kentucky 23-2. Trevecca Nazarene ranks 2nd in the current Mid-America West Conference Standings.
