Alma, MI- Mercyhurst Stunt is ready for another weekend of action as they get set to compete in the Alma Tournament. The tournament starts on February 22nd, as the Lakers play Alma College at 4:00 PM and Ashland University at 6:00 PM. They continue play on February 23rd, as they face the University of Michigan at 1:00 PM and Central Michigan University at 4:00 PM. 

Laker Outlook 

The Lakers are coming off a highly successful weekend, with dominant victories over East Stroudsburg University (18-4) and Muskingum University (19-4). Riding high on these wins, they aim to carry this momentum into another competitive weekend ahead. Key players have been instrumental in driving the team's success. Sophomore Peyton Castonguay led the charge with a standout performance against ESU, while freshmen Mackenzie LeBlanc and Lilian Saur were the top scorers in their win over Muskingum. With a 4-4 overall record and a 1-3 mark in conference play, the Lakers currently sit in 4th place in the Mid-America West Conference standings.

Scouting Alma

Alma has a 5-1 overall record and has a 3-0 record in their conference. Their only loss came against the University of Kentucky (17-15). Alma is tied for first in their conference. 

Scouting Ashland

Ashland is 8-3 overall and 4-1 in their conference. Their only losses have come against Trevecca Nazarene twice and Davenport. Ashland ranks second in the current GMAC standings.

Scouting Michigan

The University of Michigan has yet to compete this season. 

Scouting Central Michigan

Central Michigan has a 4-5 overall record and is 0-3 in their conference, placing them at 14th in their conference standings.
