Teaneck, NJ - The Mercyhurst Women's Basketball team dropped their rematch with FDU, 75-45 on Saturday. Though the game was even for the first twenty, FDU pulled away after the half, ending Mercyhurst's three-game win streak.

How It Happened:

Mercyhurst played their lowest-scoring game Saturday, struggling to complete shots against FDU, the best defense in the NEC this season.

Bailey Kuhns and Cici Hernandez were the team's leading scorers, Kuhns totaling 13 points for the day, and Hernandez 12. Only two Lakers completed assists, Ava Waid, leading with three and Grace Clary with one. Defensively, Allyson Ross led the charge with six rebounds.

As a team, Mercyhurst shot at 62% from the line and sunk three 3-point shots by Alena Fusetti, Allyson Ross, and Grace Clary

This game was a tough battle for Mercyhurst, who struggled to compete with FDU's accuracy from distance, the Knights scoring eight from beyond the arch.

Highlights:

Bailey Kuhns led the Lakers in points once again in today's match, sinking 13 by the final whistle, the bulk of her points scored in the paint.
