ABOUT THE LAKERS
The Lakers snuck out a 16-15 win at Saint Francis last weekend, coming back from a nine-point deficit at halftime. Mercyhurst took it down to the wire, scoring a touchdown in the final minute of action to improve to 2-0 in road NEC games this season.

The Mercyhurst defense held Saint Francis without a touchdown in the game. The Lakers forced Saint Francis to settle for their fifth field goal of the game with just over a minute remaining in regulation after the Red Flash returned a Mercyhurst fumble to the Lakers' 7-yard line. The stop allowed quarterback Adam Urena and the Lakers to move 65 yards on six plays in 40 seconds to secure the win. Dylan Evans caught the game-winning 15-yard touchdown pass from Urena, his fourth of the season.

The Lakers are 3-2 in NEC contests and are in a tied for third in the conference standings, behind second-place Duquesne and league-leading Central Connecticut.

PRIME PERFORMERS
Evans and Elijah Binakonsky were named NEC Prime Performers for their work at Saint Francis.

Evans posted 138 yards on nine receptions for the Lakers, scoring the game-winning touchdown.

Binakonsky had a game and career-high 12 tackles in the win, helping hold the SFU offense without a touchdown.

SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
RMU enters Saturday's contest with a 2-3 record in NEC play, with wins over Stonehill and Saint Francis. The Colonials only average 15.2 points per contest but have had one of the best total offensive outputs in NEC contests, averaging 323 yards per game, good for third in the league. RMU's Ethan Shine is one of the best running backs in the NEC, averaging 60.6 yards per game and 73.8 yards per game in NEC contests.

ABOUT THE SERIES
The Lakers are 2-3 against the Colonials all time. Before last year's loss in Moon Township, the Lakers met RMU every year from 1994-97. The home team won all four of those games making the all-time series even at two until RMU took last year's game 55-28.

Mercyhurst is set to honor 19 seniors prior to kickoff Saturday. Brian Trobel, Anthony Mackey, Jake Miller, Rylan Davison, Keon'te Huguely, Kyler Laing, Chris Thompson, Jaiden Hill, Braydon Black, Colin Scharriter, Daniel Dlugos, Cedric Carter, Alejandro Vazquez, Aidan Lin, Samuel Petros, Cadavius Gary, Joey Balgo, Caden Pustelak, and James Royal will all be honored at the ceremony.
