Women's Soccer Travels to CCSU Thursday

The Mercyhurst women's soccer team will play a single match this week. They will travel to New Britain, Conn. Thursday to take on Central Connecticut State.
 
Previously from the Lakers
The Lakers hosted two home games last week. They found their first conference win against Le Moyne Thursday winning 1-0. The Green and Blue dropped their second match 2-0 to FDU Sunday.
 
The Watchlist
Freshman Meredith Swenson netted the game winner for the Lakers in the 87th minute against Le Moyne. This marked her first collegiate goal and point. The goal was assisted by Madison Sievering.

Goalkeeper Rylee Kumer earned Prime Performer honors for her performance in both matches. Kumer made 15 saves on the week, earning her first collegiate clean sheet against Le Moyne. She finished the week with a .882 save percentage.

The Lakers and Blue Devils met last season in NEC play. The Lakers dropped the match 2-0.
