The Mercyhurst women's soccer team will play a single contest this week, welcoming the Delaware State Hornets to Erie Thursday at 1:00 p.m. for senior day.
Previously from the Lakers
The Lakers played two matches last week, first traveling to Loretto, Pa. to take on the Red Flash of SFU. They took away one point, tying 1-1. The Lakers then traveled back home and hosted Stonehill. It made to be an exciting match, Stonehill finding a late game winning goal that lifted the Skyhawks over the Lakers 3-2.

Three goals were scored last week by three different goal scorers.
Mia Maruna,
Madison Sievering, and
Anamari Bosnjak each found the back of the net for the Lakers.
Maruna scored her first goal of the season off a long cross sent by sophomore
Fiona Fraser. Her goal was named play of the week.
Sievering tallied her second goal of the season against Stonehill off a pass from
Maddi Cowburn. This marked Cowburn's second assist on the season.
Bosnjak scored the third goal of the week for the Lakers, marking her second of the season. The goal was assisted by
Fiona Fraser, marking her second assist in two straight games.
Rylee Kumer stood strong in net for the Lakers, making 17 saves against two games last week, averaging a 0.822 save percentage.

- Nicole Cargill leads the Hornets in goals with five.
