Box Score Syracuse, NY.- The Mercyhurst Women's Soccer team made history on Sunday as they earned their first Division I and NEC win on the road against Le Moyne. The Lakers are now unbeaten in their last three games after starting out 0-7.

Senior
Karah Van Horn started the Lakers off strong with her first goal of the campaign just 17 seconds in. Mercyhurst and Le Moyne battled back and forth throughout the rest of the half, but Graduate Student
Chelsea Radicia had an impressive showing in the first half with five saves. The second saw the Dolphins make a push as they continued to test Radicia in the second half. But Graduate Student
Emily Mijares gave the Lakers some insurance with a penalty kick goal in the 57
th minute. Van Horn added her second of the day in the 73
rd minute. Le Moyne finally broke through with a goal from Nicole Calle in the 85
th minute.
Highlights
The Lakers offense has continued to find their footing, and a key piece got them going early. Van Horn scored for the first time as a Division I athlete, and when she's on she's among the best. The game served as Van Horn's fourth career multi goal game. The Laker defense played a solid game and Radicia tallied a total of eight saves in the game as she continues to be impressive in net.
