Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Volleyball team is set for a pair of road games this week.  The Lakers will travel to Pittsburgh on Tuesday for a matchup with Duquesne at 6:00 PM and then they will travel to Niagara Falls for a matchup with Niagara at 6:00 PM as well. 

Laker Outlook 

The Lakers are coming off a week in which they traveled to Akron for a matchup with the Zips.  The Lakers fell in straight sets to the Zips and now sit at 1-6 on the season.   

Stats Leaders  

Paige Miller leads the Lakers in kills with 59.  Alia Mastromatteo currently leads the Lakers in assists with 76.  Kelsie Gaiter-Davis is the Lakers leader in digs with 80.  Kaitlin Murphy leads the Lakers in blocks with 11.   

A Look at the Opponents 

The Dukes are 7-2 so far this season and are coming off back-to-back wins over Evansville and Eastern Michigan.  The Dukes are led by Emersen Schrom who leads them in kills with 108.  The Purple Eagles are off to a 2-6 start so far this season.  The Purple Eagles are coming off losses to Youngstown State and Bucknell.  Liana Tolliver leads the Purple Eagles in kills with 63.
