Erie, PA- Days after a thrilling end to the season for the Mercyhurst Women's Basketball team, two standouts were honored as All-PSAC West recipients. Danielle Grim has been recognized as part of the 1st team, while Bailey Kuhns has been selected to the 2nd team. The Lakers were 18-11 this year and 14-8 in conference play.  

Danielle Grim: 1st team  

Danielle Grim was outstanding all year long for the Lakers. Playing and starting in every game of the year, the Junior from Columbus averaged 11.7 points a game to go along with 7.5 rebounds. Grim also led the team in assists, steals and blocks.  

Grim is as steady as they come and portrays everything a team would want in a point guard. She earned PSAC weekly honors three seperate times throughout the season and recorded 5 double doubles throughout the year.  

Bailey Kuhns: 2nd team 

Bailey Kuhns was a force from within the paint this year and was a primary option for the Lakers. Kuhns averaged 14.3 points per game and scored in double figures in every game but six. Kuhns's best performance came against Seton Hill where she dominated offensively and on the glass. Kuhns recorded 21 points and 16 rebounds in the outing.  

The Lakers have a bright future ahead of them, with many players returning. It is a year where Mercyhurst saw growth in many areas, and even set a school record for most consecutive wins.
