Lakers Set to Face Tiffin at Home

Erie, Pa.- The Mercyhurst Stunt team is back in action this weekend at home as they prepare for a rematch against Tiffin University on Saturday, March 23rd. The Lakers will also recognize their senior class prior to the game, which is slated for 11:00 AM.  

Laker Outlook 

The Lakers traveled to Nashville, Tennessee last weekend for a set of three games. Despite close losses to Drury University, 9-14, and Texas Woman's University, 7-9, Mercyhurst pulled out a dominant win over Buena Vista University, capturing a 13-0 victory. The Lakers just took on Tiffin University three weeks ago in a game that came down-to-the wire with the Lakers falling 11-12. Mercyhurst is prepared to face Tiffin again in hopes of getting redemption. The Lakers currently sit at 3-6 in the conference and 5-8 overall and have remained ranked 11th in the Nation based on the Division II College Stunt National Advisory Board polls. Mercyhurst's matchup against Tiffin begins at 11:00 AM in the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. 

Scouting Tiffin


Tiffin University also just traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, and played four games. They fell to Ashland University 2-22, Texas Woman's University 4-18, and Trevecca Nazarene University 0-22, but defeated Buena Vista University 11-4. The Dragons are 4-3 in the conference and 5-6 overall as they head into this weekend against Mercyhurst. According to the Division II College Stunt National Advisory Board, Tiffin is ranked just above Mercyhurst at 10th in the Nation.

The Mercyhurst Lakers will travel to Ashland, Ohio to challenge Heidelberg University, the University of Olivet, and the University of Kentucky on Saturday, April 6th.
